What is trakd

The ID is buried in some comment thread. You always find it the day after, on a laptop.

Timestamped to the secondJump to the minute a record landed
Find it on Spotify or Apple MusicOne tap, no hunting for the record
A trakd tracklist with timestamps, artwork and track sources
Unreleased tracks flaggedYou know when there is no release to find
Play any track in the appHear it before you go looking for it

Open a set and the whole night is laid out. Not a paragraph somebody typed into a comment box.

The part nothing on a laptop can do. You are standing in the room and the record is not online yet.

Four sources, one timeline.

Name a record once and it is named everywhere else it ever played. Sources stack instead of replacing each other, so a night keeps filling in long after it happened rather than freezing the day somebody wrote it down.

Everything you find stays found. Instead of a screenshot you will never look at again.

Every track, timestamped.

Open any set and the whole night is laid out row by row: the minute it played, the artwork, the links, the unreleased IDs still burning red.

Questions

What is trakd?

trakd finds complete DJ set tracklists with verified track IDs, exact timestamps, and unreleased music. It’s free to download for iPhone and iPad.

How do I find the tracklist for a DJ set?

Search the artist, venue, or event in the app and open the set. You get every track in order with timestamps, so you can find the exact song you heard at any point in the set.

Can trakd identify unreleased tracks?

Yes. trakd fingerprints unreleased music directly, so it can identify IDs playing live that Shazam and Spotify can't match. If a track is unreleased, trakd tells you that instead of guessing wrong.

How is this different from Shazam?

Shazam only knows released music. trakd is built for DJ sets: it indexes the whole set as a tracklist, covers unreleased tracks, and verified contributors confirm IDs so you're not relying on a YouTube comment section.

Is trakd free?

Yes — free download on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
